We took a vacation to Europe in spring of 2012. We made arrangements to visit six countries and stay with friends. Our vacation started in London.
Amber made plans to take a fancy dinner cruise on the Thames River on our Friday evening in London. The dinner cruise a very fancy 4 course meal that was actually my Christmas present. She had no idea that I had been planning a proposal that evening, and had been plotting for several months.
Our trip to London was generally rainy and cold, but the evening of Friday, April 27th was mild. I kept the ring hidden in my pocket all day, and after the dinner cruise, we walked across the northern Golden Jubilee Bridge. I proposed half-way across the river, and she said yes!
